Contemporary Art and a Contemplative Lifestyle – Contemporary artists use contemplative practice in a variety of ways in their work. In some cases it is evident in other ways not so much or not at all. An ascetic approach to artwork does not always mean an ascetic life. Participants are encouraged to bring a piece of contemporary artwork from their collection (not that you have made) and we will look at the work and discuss its presence and meaning in the space.
